This book is more than a children’s book. It is easy to read, beautifully illustrated, and provides excellent insights to what constitutes true motherhood, or more broadly, true parenthood. If a child is fortunate enough to receive the type of love and support expressed in this book, they are lucky, and reading the book, or having it read to them, will heighten their awareness of the many ways that their mothers are supporting them. Parents reading this book will receive an excellent roadmap and reminder of the many ways that children need to be supported as they grow and develop. The book provides an important message excellently delivered.

My copy of “A Real Mother” finally arrived. I know the author personally, so I was anticipating a great book but this was even better than expected. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book for mothers and mothers-to-be.

A wonderful book that illustrates all that a mother can and should do for her child while raising him or her. Read it to my children, ages 7 and 3, and they loved it, as well as the illustrations. Highly recommend!

What an incredible book! The passion and message behind this reading is very well written and descriptive of the true meaning of raising our precious children. The author radiates a message of a mother’s real and everlasting commitment to her children – through all phases of their upbringing — and is well-defined. The lessons we teach our children in developing them as adults begins at a very early age and this book describes those details with great illustrations and simplicity — exemplifying what is most important in the role of a mother. Interestingly enough, motherhood, no matter how it is achieved and the beauty in the family circle that we call life, parallels to the same ending….a good mother seeks the happiness and success of their children no matter how their journey begins. I feel the author has captured much of this with the greatest of simplicity. I hope many appreciate the true meaning!!

When you choose to become a mother, whether you adopt or have children biologically, you don’t receive any training Manual on the different responsibilities and roles that a Mother provides. This is a heartwarming read & a blessing for all moms to read about their importance and the loving sacrifices they make daily for 20 plus years or maybe a lifetime! What an excellent book to read and to give others. Sometimes we all need to be reminded of the importance of motherhood. This is a lovely read and a thought-provoking book, reminding us all that love is the basic ingredient no matter how or why we became parents I highly recommend it.

An important message of love. Real mothers play an important role in the future of our society–raising children with love will enable children to grow into loving adults. And the cycle will continue. The beautiful illustrations enhance the message of inclusivity–love unites us.
